• How to Re-Size Pictures

Re-sizing images to up load to the Craft Mad site is an important thing to do. If you try to upload a picture directly from your camera it may take quite a while to upload as the resolution is very high and will only create a picture size that is just too big. If you use a photo editor piece of soft ware like, Photoshop, Corel or something similar you probably know how to make a smaller, lower resolution picture for uploading or emailing.
If you don’t know how to do that I would suggest you download and install a simple image resize. You can find a lot of them around the net for free and free is all you need to pay for them.
If you use Windows XP you can download a “Powertoy” from Microsoft here. ImageResizer.exe

If you are using Windows Visa or Windows 7 you can use this one Click to view
Both of these uses a simple right click on the image file and then select the size you would like to make. As default they make a new copy of the file rather than just change the existing one. You will soon get the hang of it and find yourself using it a great deal. It’s perfect for when you want to email a picture to someone as it makes your photos fit the screen better as well as compressing them so they send and receive so much quicker than normal.
    Happy re-sizing
