• Wedding Invite Gold, Turquoise and Brown

Here is a project to make a wedding invitation but could be used for almost any celebration.

    Materials needed:
3 x Brown Felt Wove DL Flat Cards
    Gold Translucent Vellum
    Turquoise Bazzill
    Double Sided Tape
    Scalloped Circles Spellbinders
    Impressabilities Circles
    Scissors
Double Do Border (could also use Spellbinders or Joy Craft Borders or even a border punch/paper shaper)

    Instructions
    1. Score and fold 1 of the DL Flat cards 60mm in from each end
    2. Use the Double Do border die to shape the top of this scored card.
    3. Cut out a rectangle 13cmx9.5cm from the Gold Translucent vellum and use the Circles Impressabilities to emboss it.
    4. Stick the gold vellum to the top of the unscored DL Brown Wove flat card, leaving 5mm small gap at the top and each side.
    5. Cut Spellbinders Scalloped Circles in the following colours and sizes:
    Turqouise Bazzill - 51mm, 57mm & 76mm
    Brown Felt Wove - 44mm, 70mm
    Gold Translucent Vellum - 38mm
    6. Glue together the circles as follows in order: Turquoise 76mm - Brown 701mm - Turquoise 57mm. Turquoise 51mm - Brown 44mm topped with the Gold Translucent 38mm.
    7. Glue the smaller set of circles to the bottom right hand side of the DL folded flat card about halfway in from the edge, so the circle overlaps 25mm.
    8. Glue the large circle to the top of the unfolded Brown DL flat, on top of the gold translucent.
    9. using your computer printer, printo out your chosen invite wording on the gold translucent, cut it out and glue this onto the inside of your DL folded card. You can either make this three separate shapes or one long shape
    10. Using the double sided tape, glue the folded DL flat onto the bottom of the other DL flat, make sure it sits neatly at the bottom and is an equal distance from each side.
    11. you can decorate the top circle using invite stickers, rub ons, or use pens to write neatly.
    12. The bottom circle shape can be used as a closer by using sticky velcro dots or repositionable glue dots.
