• Children's Cards - by Kaye McGrath

This is a selection of children’s cards suitable for boys and girls using Birch glitter scrapbooking paper.
Four cards have been made from each sheet by using both sides of the paper for a completely different look.
The tags and some of the embellishments have also been cut from the paper, white bazzill and scraps of coordinating card.
White C6 cards have been used for each card and the front layer of patterned paper measures 10x14cm.

Following is a brief description of each card.

    The Girls Cards

Card 1 : Cut the glitter paper and attach to the front of the card using double sided tape. Cut and attach a Spellbinders scalloped rectangle using the reverse side of the paper to the centre of the front of the card. Glue a piece of lime green sheer ribbon across the centre of the rectangle and add 3 wooden heart shaped beads. Add holographic sticker edge to complete the card

Card 2: After attaching the front layer of patterned paper, cut a plain Spellbinders oval from the reverse side of the paper and a scalloped oval from white Bazzill and add to the centre of the front of the card. Using pink vellum cut a tutu and glue to the white oval. Decorate with a flower and two punched bows.
Card 3: Using the reverse side of the paper, cover the front of the card as before. Cut and attach a white Bazzill Spellbinders scalloped circle. Cut a handbag shape from the glitter side of the paper and attach a ribbon handle. Add a greeting and a butterfly and a silver sticker edge.
Card 4: After covering the front of the card with the reverse side of the patterned paper, cut and attach a white Bazzill scalloped oval and a plain oval from the glitter side. Cut two smaller ovals for the greeting which has been coloured to coordinate with the card. Add a flower with a brad centre and a holographic sticker edge.

Oh wow, Kaye, they are just so cute, those papers are amongst my favourites for kids cards. Those monkeys are very cute, it's a shame we've sold out of them now, have to try and find more of the same..........or maybe create our won zoo characters, now that shouldn't be too hard should it??
