• Holiday Planner by Kerry

There are lots of different Holiday Planners out there. This is my version.

    Card – 12” x 12” – 2 pieces (don’t cut them down to 30 cm x 30 cm)
    Card or Patterned Paper – 9 cm x 15 cm – 4 pieces
    Card or Patterned Paper – 9 .5 cm x 8.5 cm – 4 pieces
Card or Patterned Paper 10.5 cm x 8.7 cm (it’s up to you how to decorate the front)
Card or Patterned Paper 11 cm x 8.7 cm (it’s up to you how to decorate the front)
Embellishments to decorate the front cover and inside
    Ribbon
Extra card to print out the labels.
    Round Corner Punch (optional)

    1. Take the 2 pieces of 12” x 12” card and using the templates as a guide, cut them as per template. Score along the dotted lines and cut on the solid lines.
    2. Glue Part B section on to the section marked with * on Part A. You should now have one piece to work with.
    3. Glue the 4 (9 cm x 15 cm) pieces of card/patterned paper to the upper sections.
    4. Fold the lower sections up to form pockets. Glue the sides.
    5. Glue the 4 (9.5 cm x 8.5 cm) pieces of card/patterned paper to the front of the pockets.
    6. Add ribbon to the front of the cover – this will be used to hold the planner closed.
    7. Punch the 2 corners of the front cover with the round corner punch.

    8. Cover the front with either card/patterned paper.
    9. Decorate as desired.

For the inserts, I downloaded them from www.organizedchristmas.com . I used Christmas Card, Shopping List, Calendar and Gift Ideas for mine. I used double sided tape to join the pages together and then placed a strip of patterned paper over the front and back. You could always staple them together and then cover with patterned paper.

Print up labels for the pages that you have printed out. I cut mine out using Nellies’ Rectangle Multi Frames.

Lovely idea, Kerry, I got one of these from Kaye last year I think and it was so useful. These are a great gift idea - especially for unorganised people - I might have to make one for my sister
