FORMING THE BOOK:
1. Take the 2 pieces of card (10 cm x 24 cm) and the 2 pieces of card (12 cm x 24 cm) and score at every 2 cm down the long side of the card. Fold along the score lines (accordion style).
2. Ink the scored sections as desired.
4. Take the 2 pieces of card (10.16 cm x 2.5 cm) and the 2 pieces of card (12.5 cm x 2.5 cm) and punch along one side of each of the pieces. Ink the edges as you did on the accordion sections.
5. Glue the smaller ones on to the top and bottom parts of the box, and then glue the longer ones on to the sides of the book.
COVER OF THE BOOK:
6. For the inside of the cover - Take the card (12.2 cm x 23 cm) and score at 10.4 cm and 12.8 cm. Fold along the score lines.
7. Ink the edges – inside and out.
8. Take the patterned papers and place the smaller piece for the spine and the other 2 pieces for the front and back.
9. Turn the cover over to the right side. Glue ribbon to the front and back.
10. Take the patterned papers and place the smaller piece for the spine and the other 2 pieces for the front and back.
11. Decorate the front as desired.
12. Open the cover up to the inside and glue the book part to the right hand side.
13. Glue an image to the inside of the book part.
14. Decorate the front and inside cover as desired.
15. To finish the book of, close it and tie a bow with the ribbon.
