• Christmas Cake Box by Kaye McGrath

    Materials needed
    2 x A4 sheets of red card
    1 x A4 white card
    Paper doily
    Cupcake holders
    Rhinestone and greeting
    Small piece acetate


    Instructions





    The Box
    Step1: Using the red A4 sheet of card, score and fold the card at 6cm all around 4 sides.
    Step2: Cut an aperture where marked on the provided pattern. Tape a piece of acetate over the opening
    Step3: Cut 4 sides where indicated on the pattern and fold and glue to form the base of the box.
































    The Lid
    Step 1: Using the white A4 card, cut a piece measuring 21cm x 13.5cm.
    Step2: Score at 1.5cm all around the 4 sides. Cut where indicated on the pattern and glue the edges to form the lid.

















    Step3: Cut a piece of red card 18.5cm x 10 cm and glue on the top of the lid. Glue the paper doily onto the left hand side of the lid.
    Step4: Cut a strip of red card 30cm x 4cm wide. Score every 1cm and fold. Join ends together and flatten down to form a rosette. Glue onto the doily.
    Step5: Cut two alternate sized labels and join them with 3d squares. Add a greeting and glue to the right hand side of the lid.























    Step6: Insert cupcake wrappers and cakes and your box is complete
