I was looking around the internet for ideas to use up my scraps of paper. I just can't bear to throw any pieces out. However, I do have a clean out about every six months. I grab the container and with my eyes closed make my way to the bin and dispose of my bits and pieces and start again.

Anyways, I spied a Memory Card Game using different scraps of paper. So I have made a couple of sets up for my Etsy store. They were were so much fun to make and so wonderful to give that little piece of paper a purpose. I have wrapped pieces of cereal box in a bright coloured paper. Then stamped on the back .....for the green set I have used an image from the SU Priceless set. The star image I bought years ago and it doesn't have a name on it. Then the front of the cards I used my Spellbinder Nestablities Scalloped Edged Circle and Octagons to cut the shapes for the card. Some of the cards I have added cute little stickers.

These look great, Merry and what a brilliant way to use up all those scraps. I'm like you, hang on to them until they get out of control or too damaged for anything else. You could also use the scraps to make a yearly one page to a day calendar and decorate plain paper or card using the scraps. That would be a really neat gift for Christmas as well as something good to sell.....................would take some time though, 365 bits to make, wouldn't envy you that. If we started now, we might get one made before Christmas

These are so clever. A wonderful gift idea Merry and an excellent way to use up that ever growing pile of scraps. I often try to make a card just using my scrap box but it only works sometimes.
Good idea there too Mandy but as you say we would have to start now and probably for next year.

I am liking this calendar idea. Maybe if I start now I would have a couple ready to sell November or December for next year. Or maybe a six month calendar.

See, I can come up with heaps of ideas, its just doing it that takes me time..............some of my UFO projects have been sitting in the cupboard for over a year
