Teabag Holder

by Merry on 26-08-2010 at 08:06 AM
Morning everyone, I have a Teabag Holder to share today. While checking out everyone's blog I spied a beautiful Teabag Holder over at Pretty Pressings made by Claudia....you should check it out. Claudia was nice enough to share the link at Splitcoast Stampers for the Tutorial. This was just the perfect little gift to go with the Thank You card I made yesterday.

So I have used SU Taken With Teal and a Birch Haberdashery Paper OSP003 to create the holder. For the from topper I

Open Sign

by Merry on 20-07-2010 at 06:48 AM
I have been trying to create an Open flag for our local Museum (Mulgrave Settlers Museum) as we are down in the back corner of town directly opposite the mill. The current signage they have at the moment is a wooden Open sign that is close to the building and you can see if you are driving past. Curious....does anyone know how to create a digital stamp? Melissa has been drawing these cute girls lately and I reckon they would be fun to turn into a digital stamp.

Well today Nana our exchange Japanese student moves on to her new family. Yep, we will miss her and I have learnt lots about Japan and would love to visit one day. It did take a little adjusting to having three kids but when the third one is as quiet and as helpful as Nana was, it made things a lot easier. Nana will be moving to a different suburb but still attending the same school, so the kids will still get to see her. I have my fingers crossed that we find a way for Nana to remain playing

Happy Anniversary - 23 years

by Merry on 11-07-2010 at 06:48 AM
Morning everyone, just had to share this fun card I made yesterday. Yes, it's hubby's and my 23rd Wedding Anniversary today. After 23 years I am feeling like a little humour instead of the romantic style card. So visited Bugaboo and bought this wonderful Gus and Stella image. Isn't it such fun.

I have coloured it with my water colour pencils and aqua pen. Finished with some Dimensional Magic on the glasses. I used a white pre-scored card for the base card. (Blue Edge Crafts)
