They are great pictures, Kerry, isn't it wonderful to see the water flooding back after so much drought in the recent years. Tracey, hope you didn't get too flooded, we had our promised rain, its still raining now which is wonderful. bad bit was our water tank overflowed and water went into our storage shed which holds all the packing boxes. Luckily, they are all on plastic pallets so no real damage....just drowned out the cockroaches hopefully.

Kaye that is so funny about the ginger growing in the lawn, how does it do that? We've got a passion fruit and its sprouting in our lawn, think its time to be moved to a pot, not had any fruit on it yet..........so if it doesn't buck up its ideas, its heading for the compost bin

We went to the garden show today and apart from a wee bit of rain on the way down, its was just such a lovely day to be out and about. Not too hot not too cold, just right. We sat and listened to Tino, Josh and Sophie and learnt such a lot, so well worth going. Picked up quite a few new plants and found a few new places to buy from, so all in all a lovely day. This afternoon/evening, I've been playing with my stamps and must have stamped about 30 images, did 4 of each so I'm going to spend the evening colouring them in.

I've spent today converting files from GSD (Robo) to WPC (Pazzles) some were easy as they didn't require much work after converting, others were a real pain in the proverbial as they were in a shocking state, would probably have been faster to draw them from scratch.
Still, kept me out of mischief.
I cut one which I'm just about to post in my gallery, it's a sidestep card with a dancer silhouette on the front.

Must check out the gallery Beth I am a bit behind there so really need to catch up on my comments today. Almost a fine day here, very grey still but not raining yet. I say yet because I am going to the hairdressers so it is sure to rain late. Being the eternal optimist the washing is on. Did manage a dry enough time to mow the grass late yesterday, really chopped it up bit but you can at least see the house from the road now lol The gardens will have to wait for another day.

It sure did rain last night, think our tanks are back up to full.......lots of water flowing thru the carport and I haven't been back out to the shed yet, I suspect it will be under water again in there. It really was a very bad design, may well have to move it at some point.

Kamma, I use all sorts of pens to colour my images, although I didn't get any coloured last night, too busy sorting out what I'd done. I use artist watercolor pencils and then a teeny tiny paint brush dipped in water to sort of blend the colours. I keep a few cotton buds handy to quickly wipe away splashes and over runs. I also use Uniball metallic and gel pens and I've got a set of tombows and another set of blender pens from the UK. I haven't yet got into the Copic markers although one of our distributors sells them. They are talked about a lot on the overseas forums, There are just so many colours, its hard to know which ones to pick.

Hi all...haven't we had some rain....I for one am really over it at the moment. The back yard is just so sloppy and there is no hope in hell of getting a mower through it. it would just be flicking up the water i think... oh well i will have to put signs up directing people to the door as the grass will be that overgrown they won't be able to find it...lol

I haven't had much of a chance to do any crafting since moving up to Hervey Bay but I am hoping that will change now that things are settleing a bit. We had to go over to England at the beginning of February as Alan's mum was seriously ill and we wanted to see her incase the inevitable happened.. we do know that it is just over the horizon but that doesn't make it any easier...
This week is looking good for some crafting for me...Yay there hasn't been any of that happening here for what seems forever....

Hope all my CM friends are well or getting over their colds (Beth).. Looking forward to seeing all the lovely creations that you've been doing so I might take myself off to the gallery to have a look.
    Have a great Day!!

Good to hear you're settling in, Lana, sorry to hear about Alan's Mum, it was good that you were over there when it happened though. Kind of clears everything up in a way. I bet you're looking forward to the whale watching season, it'll come round quickly now summers over.

My stupid cat this morning decided to go and run up the tree................I only just managed to catch her before she got too hig. She's so stupid, it must ahve been the weather, with her poorly leg, you'd think she wouldn't want to run up things. I had visions of her falling or jumping and landing badly.....either that or having to get the ladder out. Must be the increased medicine dose we've been giving her.....that glucosamine for cats works really well

Hi Cm'ers Glad you got your cat ok We are seeing the rain here for the 1st time in ages Big black clouds are forming though. I had a lot planned fro today I have been screen printing this morning But I also teach my 13 year old aspergers daughter at home she had a huge stress attack about her science lesson so we are both taking a breather now. I recently made her a 50's outfit to wear to the Rock and roll night our local club is having next week end ATM I am trying to finish a 60's outfit for my younger daughter hence the screen printing this morning It is mandalas and peace signs. I have been looking through the gallery I am having trouble finding sewing all I can find is cards I must be looking in the wrong places. How long before I can post to the gallery it keeps telling me I dont have access yet?. Oops sorry bout the rambling been at home with kids and no adults to talk to

You were lucky Mandy that you got you cat before she went up the tree.. they can be a pain to get back down once they get into a spot and are scared.
Mandy we weren't over there when Alan's mum got sick, we went over when they told us how bad she was... We weren't going over this last Christmas with the move and all. But when we found out how poorly she was Alan just had to go and see her while she was still ok...I know that sounds off but like i said to him. Isn't it better to go now and see and speak to her rather than wait until it is too late to even say goodbye.....

Well i can't believe it........SUNSHINE first time in i don't know how long...but with that come the humidity after so much rain... can't win i know we moan when there is no rain and we moan when we have too much....lol

Oh well it is off to my craft room now and see what i can do... Have a good day to all!
    Have a great Day!!

Hey Gypsy what part of Qld do you live? I think I might move there We have had almost 10 inches of rain in a week in Brissy and more promised. I can almost feel the mould growing on me
Re the gallery I am not sure how long you have to wait. I really didn't think there was a waiting time. Maybe that is a question for Ian. I think if you go onto the members galleries you will find what you are looking for. A lot of members have seperate albums for different craft. I have cards and Off the page and scrapping I think. Love to see your daughters outfits.
Mandy maybe your kitty cat gave itself a fright and won't try that again. Must be a good pill she is on, sounds just like what I need

That screen printing sounds like real fun, Gypsy. I discovered today that one of my wholesalers sells a Screen Printing kit, might be just the way to go. I have a heap of the paint, mainly white, black, gold and silver, just need to work out the best way to go about it......oh and one other vital ingredient...time lol. To upload pictures etc, you need to first create an album, I'm sure there is a post about it somewhere, I'll find it and bump it up for you. Its really easy then.

Our rain has all but disappeared although it is still overcast and a bit chilly. We've got so much going on over here at the moment, Clipsal starts on Thursday, Womadelaide, the Fringe, plus heaps of other evens, no wonder they call it Mad March.

Fluffy tried to go up that darn tree again today, once when I was out there, once with Ian, it's a good thing we never let her into the garden by herself..............unless she's nice and settled on the swing in the sun. We're going to put a wire fence round it later today, that should deter the little menace.

It does sound like fun doesn't it I can remember doing some when the children were young but that is a long time ago. Also brings back memories of tie-dying Everyone had a tie died t shirt or sarong Must have been my hippie days I think.lol
Must be something in that tree that Fluffy really wants Mandy, or maybe just some more attention.
Really hot and humid here today and looks like a storm on the way so hope that cools it down a bit We are back to AC. I spent another couple of hours in the garden this morning and doesn't my poor old body know it. Aches and pains on top of yesterday aches and pains. Anyway only the back gardens to do now so maybe that will be the weekend job.Think I will spend the rest of the day hiding in the ac in the computer room and do a bit of catching up.

What a cool night that was and to top it off we had some stupid person running up the street screaming at about 11.30pm...............hope it was something to scream about and not just kids mucking around, cos they woke me up.

I've just unpacked 4 big boxes of cards and already feel worn out, there were 10 boxes yesterday, only 6 to go...over 25000 cards to find homes for

It's another crazy day in our house I had to take Rachel to the dentist at 9am this morning, and she's been booked in for a filling and possible tooth extraction in 2 weeks' time. She has one loose tooth which rather than getting very loose is just sticking straight out at a very odd angle. The dentist said Rachel has to wiggle the tooth and get it out otherwise they will pull it out when we go back for the filling.
Domestic stuff on the agenda now, and a bit of study too... then down to the school for head lice duty at 2.00pm. It's a pretty crappy job, checking hair, but we are so short on volunteers that I feel bad saying no.

Hope the head lice duty went okay and you didn't spot any of the little critters, Wendy, like you say a horrid job that someone has to do. I always remember the "Nit Nurse" at school, we were quite lucky an only had them once from memory.....nasty foul smelling stuff they used to use way back then.

We've been up and out early this morning, our fridge or rather freezer part of the fridege/freezer looked like it had died yesterday, we already had it fixed last year, so thought it best to go replace it. It looks like the freezer is getting colder now, although neither of us wants to chance it. Only trouble is, we have to remove and shortne a peice of worktop to fit the new one in.........not what we'd planned on doiing this weekend. At least the sensible one amogst us left a big enough gap for a new freezer (and no, that wasn't me LOL)

Its a beautiful weekend for gardening, 30deg and cool mornings, shame the digger hasn't come to move our moss rocks on the front garden. Still, there's plenty to be done on the back.
