I so love those asian cards Kaye and the orange card too. Really love that kimono sticker on your first card.. The whole reason for this weeks theme is because Melissa set me a challenge of creating a Japanese style card for her birthday tomorrow. So for the last three days I have been trying to find time to sneak a cardmaking session in. I have a little hidey hole for when she visits and another project that she thinks I am working on.Fingers crossed I will have a completed card tomorrow.

I did it I met Melissa's challenge of a Japanese birthday card for her for her 14th Birthday today. 14.....I just can't believe that my baby is 14
The top row of wording says "Happy Birthday" and the second row "Melissa" (or Merisa as they don't have 'l's) I used an online translator to help me out here. The Japanese girl is a digital image from Softpencil and the origami butterfly took me two days to create. Arrrrrggghhhhh! Finally found instructions I could understand on www.origamifun.com
