Thanks Kaye....im hoping to make it....
Hi everyone, I thought this weeks inspiration could come from our very own gallery. So have chosen this lovely card posted by atlas. (Hope you don't mind).
The idea is to take some part of this card and use it in your creation. The colour, the layout, stripes, circles, corner stickers etc. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
So did you all enjoy your week off? This weeks theme is LADYBUGS/LADYBIRDS/LADYBEETLES.
Yes, I learnt something yesterday about these bugs.
I was out gardening like I planned. I managed to weed four of our eight gardens, so very happy. Then yesterday arvo it started raining and is still again today.......so my plants are happy too. I found my four watermelon plants in the weed/vegi garden. A couple of them are flowering already. So maybe some watermelons in the not too distant future.
As I was putting the hose away from having the sprinklers on ...... yes I brought the rain on by watering my garden. lol. Anyways, I noticed these white fuzzy bugs and thinking they just had to be bad for plant I squished a few. Well last night I decided to google and.............
Now I am a little sad as those white fuzzy things are apparently the larvae of a ladybird (ladybug, ladybeetle). Big time oops!!! I have never thought before how a ladybird came to be. I think I assumed there were eggs laid they hatched as ladybirds. If you would like to see a few more ladybirds and learn a little more here is a great site all about the ladybirds in the Brisbane area of Australia.
Oh wow, Merry, I never knew that either, I knew they came in different colours. What a great challenge, I'm sooooo far behind on these, the week off was most welcome............although I'd need a month to catch upI'll try my very best to do a few this week, mainly because I've got the card making bug back again.

I used atlas's card that was posted for inspiration last week as inspiration for the layout of my Ladybug card. I have had this paper for ages sitting and waiting for a special card. The saying I printed off the computer and the ladybug paper cut out made it's way into my collection either through a swap or a secret santa. Thanks to whoever gave it to me as it is perfect.
Awww, that is so cute, Merry, and thanks for the reminder, I'll get onto this tomorrow.
