Well, here's my effort for the Oriental theme. I ahd big plans for this one, only managed one card so far, although one of my swap cards is now on an oriental theme, so that will be in the gallery hopefully next week.

I made the background using red paper printed on the laser printer, the symbols were got from the internet and the other symbols are holographic stickers as is the oriental figure.

Love that card Mandy! I also use my printer for printing my own background papers, only I don't have a colour laser, shame cos the one at work won't take even light cardstock.

Time for a colour challenge this week......me thinks. Do you remember the old saying of Blue and Green should never be seen. Well I think that is a thing of the past these days as this combination is everywhere. So please post photos of your creations here with Blue and Green. Inspire us!!!

Here is a card I created for a friends husbands birthday later this month. Yep, this is one of the images I sent out in the last image swap. You can get your copy from Talk to the Ham While I was looking for the URL address for this wonderful image I came across someone showing off a card they had created using it. They had printed the image out a second time onto patterned paper and then cut out the inner tube and attached that to the coloured picture....looked wonderful.

Love the card Merry! Blue and Green...... hmmm I just made two very nice PINK ones......... oh well, back to to drawing board, I guess I can find blue and green in my craft room, LOTS of pink though....

My Crafting day at Mandy's place produced this to meet this challenge! not a lot of green, but what's there is very pretty! This card is taken from the current issue of 'Australian Cardmaking Stamping and papercraft' I used some of the new double sided embossed and glittered cardstock available at Blue Edge Crafts.
