I made some cards up for her too Merry. It was good to use up some of those items that you are not sure what to do with but cant throw away. I plan to start a bit earlier next year..
Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that Tracey Hanshaw and friends have started collecting Christmas cards for our Aussie Troops serving overseas. Last year they managed to send 4200 handmade cards to our troops serving overseas so that they could then send them to their families at Christmas time. I managed to send 10 last year and this year I have challenge myself to double that amount.....that is why you are seeing Christmas cards from me in the gallery. Thought I would go with the Christmas in July theme and finish July off making Christmas cards.
If you just click on this link you will find out all the details for this collection. The cut off date is 31st October. If you happen to be in the Ourimbah area they have two dates that they are getting together to make cards. 30th July and 24th October.

Thats what I do to Daisy. Use all the Christmas things I collect that aren't quite me but don't want to toss as there is nothing wrong with them just not my taste.
I sent some cards in too, I am also planning on getting them done sooner rather than later. Tracey also collects for Mother's Day so alot of the cards I made for the October pink challenges will go to her I think
Have a great day!
