Craft Mad Girls Night In 2011

We would like to invite you the Craft Mad Girls Night In which will be held on Friday 21^st October 2011 at 7pm (QLD time)
We have a wonderful project planned and are in the process of making up kits which we will be sending out (free of charge) to the first 20 people who donate to our Cancer Council Girls Night In before Friday 7^th October, 2011.
More details will be announced soon.

We have planned a night which will include making a couple of small projects from the kit, games, prizes, chat and fun as well as lots of little surprises along the way while at the same time raising money for this very good cause.
In conjunction with our Girls Night In we are having two competitions.

The first is a Hidden Message Competition which will begin tomorrow Tuesday 2^nd August. 2011 so don’t forget to log in tomorrow for all the details We are also having a “Pink” competition which will begin on Thursday 1^st September 2011 so start thinking about your “Pink“ craft creations.

So we hope you will save the date and watch out for full details of the Craft Mad Girls Night In.

Hidden Message Competition
We are having a Hidden Message Competition as part of our Girls Night In.

Beginning today you will need to check the daily posts on the Craft Mad forum and discover a “pink” word. There may be one or more.
The words will appear at random and will be found only on actual forum posts not on any logos etc.

Collect all the “pink” words between now and 10 pm Monday 17^th October 2011 and make up a message to match ours.
Email your completed message to eyak@craftmad.com.au and the first three correct answers will win an exciting prize.

Winners will be announced on Friday 21^st October, 2011 during our Girls Night In.

Hint: can you find any “pink” words today.

Do you know, I am such a dufus, I kept seeing these pink words and thinking what the heck is that all about - I did read this post but like usual, it went completely out of my head. Anyhow, I now have to go back and find all the pink words to solve the puzzle DOH! Please tell me that someone else did this??

Craft Mad Girls Night In
As previously announced our Craft Mad Girls Night In will be held on Friday 22^nd October 2011 in the Craft Mad Chat Room at 7pm (QLD time)
This night is an annual event to help raise funds for the Cancer Council of Australia and also raise awareness of Breast Cancer which touches so many people in our community.
You will find the link to our donations page at the bottom of this post and the first twenty people who donate will receive a pack with all that you will need to make a lovely Pamper Bag.
We plan to make two of the items in the bag on the night and full instructions will be included in the kit for you to finish the project at your leisure.
As the kits are limited we have a couple of rules:
To ensure that we have enough kits made we are also asking you to register for the night by emailing us at eyak@craftmad.com.au before 30^th September.
All donations must be made before 10pm on 7^th October to enable us to pack and post the kits to you so that they arrive in time for the night of the 22^nd.
Only one kit per person will be available.
We are hoping that you will all get behind this excellent cause and join us for some craft, fun and games, and prizes.

We are looking for Pink projects, any craft, as long as it is a pink theme.
There is a limit of 2 entries per person.

The competition will close on 14^th October at 10 pm and the winner of a wonderful prize donated by Blue Edge Crafts will be announced on Monday 24^th October 2011.

ooh - I missed this when first announced
Unfortunately, I will miss the GNI, as I will be preparing for a weekend away to attend niece's wedding in the Barossa - not wishing to rub it in at all
we will be staying at the Barossa Novatel - looking forward to that one very much
