Learning Something New

Hi guys,
Hope its ok me posting this but I was just wondering if anyone was interested in a "Teach yourself something new" its something I have been doing for a couple of months now where I pick something I havent done before and try it out, eg I am doing Iris folding this month. I

Is it something you would be interested in and post pics of what you have done? If this is ok with the mods of course

Sounds like a great idea Alex. I know I have a to do list of things I have seen on the internet. If I did one a month it would start to dwindle. Iris Folding is such fun isn't it.

That's fine by us Alex, we do try to add new things, its sometimes hard though as we've all done such a lot already. The online Create and Chat lessons usually feature a new card type or technique, which is good. I think Kerry did an iris folding one a few months back. I like iris folding, I've got a heap of patterns here which you are welcome to have a go at I used to put them together in kits with our frames - one day I just ran out of time and never got back to them. When I get two minutes, I'll get Ian to add them to the front of the site with the patterns and instructions.

We are currently planning our Create and Chat sessions for next year so if there is anything that you would really liek to be included we would be VERY happy for any ideas. We are hoping to concentrate more on card techniques next year so please let us know. We are open to any and all suggestions.

Silly me! I didnt think about the Create and Chat ....dummy I am! I will have a look in my quest to learn more things, thanks guys!

Nothing siilly about your idea Alex. We love suggestions and other ideas. Is there anything in particular you would like to learn to do We would be happy to include it in our next years C&C. Have a think and let us know.

You sure are not silly, Alex, it is a great idea, we have a section called How To and your welcome to post new stuff in there - or even ask questions on how to do something. One of us is sure to be able to help.
