Hello, I have just found this site, and as I am a crafter from way back thought this might be just the place to be. I have joined other sites over the years only to find them fade off into the sunset. My preferred craft is sewing, but have tried just about everything in my 63 years and still willing to learn more. The only 2 things I haven't tried are scrapbooking ( i leave that to my daughter) and quilting.
I look forward to making some new friends and spark up some new crafting interests

Hi Katherine and welcome to Craft Mad - we're not about to fade into the sunset, this site has been going for a good few years now and like most of them sometimes people join in a lot, sometimes not so much. I love all types of crafts, although paper crafts and card making are my favourites. For a long, long time sewing was the only craft I really did and that was mostly clothes and curtain making. Nowadays I get little time to create which is a shame.

Hi Katherine. Welcome to a wonderful craft sight. I only do cards now. I use to work in a dress shop at Buderim sewing many years ago but now I am not sure if my sewing machine even works.Hang around on this sight and we will have you doing paper craft in no time.

Hi Katherine, nice to meet you. I enjoy sewing but seems the only time I do that now is for the swaps here at Craftmad which I totally enjoy. Every time I do one I wonder why I don't sew more often. That is because I am busy making cards.....probably because it is quicker to an end result. Enjoy your stay and bump into you soon.
