Hi everyone, December is approaching fast. Thought I would try and get this swap started at the very start of December to give us a little more time. Actually, just remembered last year we combined our December/January swaps. What would you like to do?

A December swap with a Christmas Theme?

Or a combined December/January swap with a theme to be decided on?

Or miss December and come back in January?

December swap. I'm not into ornaments myself but happy to go with the flow.

Maybe a December/January swap Merry, it would be difficult (for me at least) to get something finished before Christmas apart from my existing swap commitments (but I have time off over Christmas to sew and scrap to my heart's content!)

How about a December swap making one hanging ornament but not necessarily a christmas decoration. e.g. A door hanger, etc

Morning everyone, I read all your suggestions and started a group up this morning for the December Sewing Swap. You will find it here. We will be swapping a sewn hanging decoration but there is a twist to this swap......... your partner will decide what type of hanging decoration it is. Not the shape...just the theme as in Christmas or No Occasion. So if you would like to join in this group just visit the group here and add your name. Also if you could add to the following list your preference of Hanging Decoration. The group will remain open until 1st December and the terrifically talented Mandy will post a list of partners.

Just wanted to add a quick thanks to all those members who have joined into our small sewing swap throughout the year. I have enjoyed these swaps as they get me motivated to dig out my needles and threads. Also love seeing all my partners wonderful takes on each challenge. The other bonus is I have 'sew' many useful items around the house now. Merry Christmas everyone.

Thanks Merry, I'll try to be good with my choosing partners - there could only be me in the swap though, at least I wouldn't be late lol. Thank you too for all your organising over the past year (and all the other years) you do have it so well set out and thought out, hope I don't forget next month
