Time sure does fly

I was just searching thru the gallery to find a card I'd made one year, when I found some going back to 2006 and earlier, that time sure has flown by and so many swaps later we're still doing it

I think it would be lovely to up the anti next year and try to get more people swapping - not sure how yet - all ideas welcome

Anyhow, thank you everyone who has joined in the swaps and if you are a newbie or lurker, please consider joining in next year, it's all good fun

Now, I need to find time to comment on the last months and this months gallery piccies, excuse me if they only get a one word comment or a rating

It is a bit scary how time just flies by Mandy.
I think it is good to look at your older card some times just to see how your style has changed over the years. I too am heading to the gallery to see what I have missed. Might see you there lol.

Time certainly does fly by so quick. I enjoy looking back in my gallery and see how much I have changed my cardmaking. Still think there is so much more room for improvement after seeing everyone else work but that is the fun of it all.

We certainly have done a lot of swaps over the years and been inspired by the cards I have received. Many of my swap cards have gone to special new homes but many of my swap cards have remained here so I can be reminded of certain techniques.

Our card swap has grown so much this last year it would be great to see that happen again in the new year. So many more ideas to see.

I was thinking that my card making style has changed over the years, then I looked at a few of them and I seem to have reverted back to the clean and simple style, which I really do like. I like to make a fussy fancy card every now and again, my favoured style is everything in a row or ordered and clean and simple - which is strange when you consider the mess I make and leave working and creating - which is not clean or simple at all lol
