I like the fabric headband idea! Totally can imagine making those for myself to wear!
Oh wow, Mandy, that is a fantastic site. I like the pocket magnet, dog leash and the frypan pot holder and that was only with checking the site out for five minutes.Thanks.

That is a lovely looking block Annmaree...haven't a clue on the name. Maybe Cathy will spy this and know.
Something I have learnt since starting these blocks is that they are not as tricky as they initially look. I always though people made every little section that made up a block rather than making bigger shapes and then cutting them down, turning them around to give the different angles in the blocks. Makes it a little less daunting.
an awesome Vid from Missouri Quilt Co for a cool block that almost looks like a combination of our last two months blocks

Nice find Annmaree
will have a look see
EDITED:
looks like it might be a variation on jacobs ladder

Annmaree's picture shows the centre block as 1 piece and the outer corners are made with 3 pieces - 1 oblong and two squares. the secret to this one looking so good, I think, is the white background and 'ladder' having good contrast from the other pieces.
Yeah I just love the patterned fabrics on the background with the plain squares that it makes when attached alltogether! SO COOL!

the disappearing 9 patch is a very simple blockand can be very effective when put together using a similar colour scheme

if the block needs to finish up at 9 1/2 inches, then we start with 7 inch blocks
You are not having any luck with the posting in here at all Cathy.I do know that sometimes if I have links in my posts they go to moderation.
Thanks for the measurement for the Disappearing Nine Block.
