    Default Christmas all year round

I haven't quite got this right yet, I was just thinking that even though it's only just gone, Christmas always seems to come around so quickly and my best laid plans of being well prepared come unstuck. So, I'm planning on making a few cards every month that have a Christmas theme - plus maybe one present too.

So, should we do this as a monthly challenge like the sketch challenges and have a separate gallery for them? Or should we just make up our own plan and post in our individual galleries? I know for me if I'm forced into something like a monthly challenge, I'm more likely to do it than being left to my own devices.

What a good idea Mandy. I have seen around the place either a challenge theme for just Christmas cards each month. Or sort of a Dare to complete say 50 Christmas cards by a set time...this would be great to have a separate album for. I was just looking around my desk and discovered a bundle of 3D Christmas paper toles all made up and ready for cards. So I would love to do something like this.

Great idea Mandy.. I think a seperate gallery, and at the end of the year we have cards to give away as early gifts.
My sister gave each of her work mates a bundel of my Christams cards as a early Christmas gift.

Good idea Mandy. Could we include it as an extra challenge with the monthly sketch challenge but not necessarily have a sketch unless you really want it. Easy enough to whip up a sketch I guess if it makes it easier.I think a seperate gallery would be good as well and maybe it would be a good idea for a journal later in the year..
I already have orders for next years Christmas cards so Iam also hoping to do a few a month as it was all such a rush last year. Matter of fact Ruth and I made Christmas cards last night and have a couple more in the pipeline for today when they have finished shopping and we have finished with doctors appointments ( I know which I would rather be doing) lol

I think thats a great idea. It will give me motivation to make more cards and send them to the troops for Christmas 2012
    Have a great day!

I reckon we could do it as a sketch challenge too, Kaye, plus if we get really inventive, we could do it as a "use this" type challenge ie use vellum, use glitter etc. the good thing is it gives us a head start all year round and I love to make Christmas cards.

I like the idea of giving them away, also, I want to make a lot for the cat rescue group, although they will probably be silk screen printed ones at this rate - I'm loving playing with that (when I get the time grrr flippen work) Giving them to the troops is another brilliant idea and I'd love to send some hand made ones over to Mum too - at this rate, i'm not going to have any left for me lol
