Well, the dates could be a bit of a pain as our long weekend is different to other states. do you think I should set up another poll to get teh actual date?
This is the way it will hopefully work. The venue will be Kaye's house in Brisbane and we'll book accommodation nearby - for those of us who are not nearby (I'm not doing that commute everyday)
Kaye suggested that we each do a project for the weekend with all the supplies included, that way, we get to make a few projects and if there isn't time to complete them all, we've got a pack to do back home. So, if there are 6 people, we each do 6 packs. We'll have to do a bit of planning among ourselves to make sure we don't duplicate.
Any other ideas?

I'm OK with that I have marked the calendar.
Sounds good to me at this stage, have marked it in the diary. Just checked the school holidays for Queensland and we have them at the same time, so will be able to arrange for Michael to have Emma for the Monday (hopefully).

We shall have to decide what is happening on the Monday. May be a shoppig trip or a look at the local craft shops, or maybe more crafting , do you think ?? Only a suggestion.
Kaye, the 1st October in Queensland is the new Queen's Birthday holiday....so not too sure what hours the shops will be running at....assuming it will be Sunday times if any. Received a brochure in the mail, with school holidays and public holidays. Hope this helps.
