    Default Different Folds - Challenge

I've been playing with cards and folding these last few weeks and have come up with a few folds which might be useful. You do need longer card for them (watch this space) so cutting up A3 is probably preferable. this is one which I thought would be great for Mothers Day or Valentines Day as the middle looks a bit like a heart (or a W or M, depending how you look at it) Excuse the peg holding it together, I ran out of time to finish it, the join could be made with paper fasteners ribbon threaded thru holes punched or by sewing up.

The sizes are: 46cm long x 11.5cm and it is folded at 11.5cm in from each end, and the centre fold is 23cm in. Then, you fold on the opposite side of the card (ie the reverse) and measure 4cm either side of the centre fold.

Now, you challenge is to come up with a few cards using this method and see how you finish it off. I'd be interested in your thoughts - the first one could be how to get a piece of card that big You could use two pieces of 11.5cm for each end and a 23cmx11.5cm for the centre (or a bit bigger depending on the join)

Just in from a few hours in the garden. Why do I do this to myself? If I can move after I have lunch and a rest I will give this fold a go Mandy. Looks very interesting.

Snap, Kaye, only I'm in from sorting out the sheds - who knew that it was going to be so hard in 32deg heat? To be fair, I didn't know it was that hot until half way thru when Ian came to help. By then, everything was out and waiting to be put away again. All done now, although the carport looks like it's part of the rubbish dump with crap for hard rubbish, boxes to be cut down and an assortment of stuff that I cannot be parted from (no matter how hard Ian tries to get rid of them)

I go all my card stuff out last night and then did nothing so hopefully, this afternoon will be better. I'd like to get this card finished as I think it could be a good one for Mother Day.

Well I just tried to make this I must say I don't follow directions very well. to start I never had any card that long so I used 42cm instead and "adjusted" the measurements. Then I got to a point when I really had no idea what I was doing
Ths is what I ended up with, is it anything like it well if you close one eye turn your head slightly and squint a bit it is sort of like it. I haven't decorated it as yet
