Havent been around much

Hi everyone,
Thought I would drop by and say hi. Havent been around much of late, I have been unwell for a while now and yesterday had my gastric band removed and replaced after the original one caused alot of problems. I am feeling a little sore and sorry for myself now I am back home from hospital, looking forward to getting back to 100% and getting my craft on So glad I bought my stuff for the create and chat early.

Sorry to hear you have not been well Alex. My SIL had the same thing done, I seem to remember that she was in a lot of pain and pretty sure she had to have hers replaced too. She had a bit of time on 'baby food' as she put it but now on small portions of normal food. Plus going off to a trainer. I hope that all goes well for you now.

Great to see you back again, Alex, I know a few people who've had those Gastric bands, hope your new one works out. I think all that chewing of your food to make it mushy would make my mouth hurt more than having the band - mind you, I love mushy food, semolina, porridge, yoghurt, weetbix (warm with milk yumm) I used to eat baby rusks soaked in milk years ago - flippen heck, I feel like some now

thanks everyone, I am back...sort of still feeling a bit off and not yet up to doing any craft really jut trying to stay occupoed before the boredom monster gets me. Have had problems with my posts disappearing so I hope this one works out!
