I started with a base box from a Christmas present - mobile phone. I then made a lid out of card stock and adhered Magazine Reeds to the lid. Magazine Reeds are pages of a magazine rolled up.....bit like a large paper bead. The maroon flower is from a flower I have had in a vase for a couple of years and have pulled it apart. The button is from my stash.
I should have taken a photo before I added the flower as my daughter was a little disappointed that you will not see the whole design. The pattern is made up of four sections of 'v's which slowly get smaller and smaller.
To get these colours I selected all the pages with brown, black and red images.
